When corps receive govt subsidies & pay their executives exorbitant salaries while their employees rely on govt assistance to cover the wages the corps won’t pay, we have a problem. The same corps execs are seeking to entrench their grift and place the blame on their employees - systemic gaslighting

I really think that the prevailing narrative that DOGE is cutting waste is really just a smoke and mirrors game. In reality, the goal appears to be dismantling essential federal services that serve and ensure the public good. If successful, this shift would transfer responsibility for critical services from the federal government and taxpayers to individuals and local communities—most of whom lack the resources to fill the gap. This would also deepen existing disparities between communities. Meanwhile, the wealthy and corporations, no longer contributing to the cost of public services, would be free to focus solely on accumulating wealth and exploiting resources—both human and natural—without accountability for the consequences. Worse still, when these consequences inevitably harm the most vulnerable, those in power will deflect blame onto the very people impacted by their exploitation. This is not just irresponsible, it’s a deliberate strategy of gaslighting and scapegoating. We must take back our democracy and ensure that we re-center our corprate responsibility for human and environmental wellbeing.
