We're looking at some monthly rentals here in Spain today. Just like across Latin America, locals prey on tourists.

Here an example of the monthly rental price between a furnished place from both "Booking.com" and "Idealista" in Oviedo, Spain.

Hmmm, which one do you think is the American company🤔

The largest contibuter to poor health that I witnessed exploring Latin America was the CocaCola company. In almost all communities, they were the only source for drinks. All their sodas and even juices were, of course, full of added sugar.

Never seen so many metal teeth, especially in kids.

Does anyone here travel internationally with their pet?

We picked this girl up in Belgium last year and she's already been to 4 states in the US and 8 countries. It's been a wild ride so far!

We explored over 40 US states before starting our drive around the world 8 years ago and explored 40 countries.

It's still going to take us another 20 years of fulltime travel to see everything we want to see.

Every country offers so much. We're currently exploring Spain for a couple years...

Everyone travels at their own pace. Some do the Pan Am Highway in 6 months. It took us 6 years just to get from the US to Ecuador.

Instead of just taking the highway, we try to explore each country fully before moving on while searching for the most remote regions and taking flights on side trips.

Our new dog Gypsy is on a full-time adventure. She has no idea what she has gotten herself into.

First post on Bluesky!

We left the US to drive around the world as a family almost 8 years ago!

To catch up, here's a video of our first 4 1/2 years of Exploring Mexico and Central America.
