In 1990 I was an animator in a paper & pencil studio. Since 2006 I'm animating on a Cintiq, preal pencils are only used for occasional sketches.
You may recognize the Berol Turquoise and the Blackwing Warrior, superior pencils de luxe.

Found some layouts I did for "Der kleene Punker" back in '92. This one is for a background pan, hence the distortion. If you look very closely you can spot the little gags I smuggled into the facade (and which were mostly ignored by the background painters).
