My mom cared deeply about the families and children she worked with, regularly navigating difficult situations of abuse and neglect. I wrote this out of love for her accomplishments, letting her know she wasn't at fault and her life's work wasn't in vain.

Even after going through that, she quickly bounced back to work for a non-profit helping provide meals for families in need during the pandemic and beyond.

Around the time I started writing the instrumental for this song, she was unceremoniously let go from her position, blamed for the mistake of another colleague, while she was on a brief (but overdue) vacation.

Each of these recordings represents a ton of work and love. Congrats friends
