At a convention last Sunday, I had 2 dudes approach my booth and noticed they were speaking to each other in sign language. I wrote in my phone: “My main character is nonverbal.” I wasn’t sure what kind of reaction I’d get, but they got super excited and instantly bought copies. Such a cool moment!
