Curious to hear what direction you are going in. Still have my WC left and had planned to get some more City and Liverpool players but atm I have no clue where I would like to go with the team…

If this continues we are gonna lose out on a CL spot. I don’t think the suits will allow that.

Incredibly concerning

The summer window is very curious. No doubt talented players were signed but unlike previous windows it does not look like they were signed to fit into how we play…

Indeed. I’m not sure Isak got the ball the first 30 mins. Then he grew frustrated and moved out wide.

Would be good if we could try and score any of the chances this season aswell.

The starting eleven is certainly a choice based on the current situation.

Frankfurt just showed how to play with some speed..

Plenty of runs on the counter for Isak aswell and Liverpool play the pass to a worse option.

Waited so long for this to happen. Never in a million years did I believe it would end up being Isak!

Yeah Liverpool are not clicking as of yet. Very happy to see them grind out 3 points.

Quite surprised that Arsenal did not attack Liverpool more than they did all things considered. Have to look over the game again but it felt like ARS was happy with a draw/hoping for a goal from a corner.

I completely agree on Noni. Zubimendi I think will prove a solid signing for the price. Isak would have been terrific for Arsenal.

Will be interesting to see if they sort out a LW before the window closes because I think they might still need more firepower.

Not sure Arsenal could grab Zubimendi + Noni in addition to Isak (2x Gyökeres price).

They have spent heavily over the past seasons and have not made that much back from sales

22/23 - Spent 186m (Net -162m)
23/24 - Spent 235m (Net -165m)
24/25 - Spent 109m (Net -25m)
25/26 - Spent 224m (Net -216m)

Only watched him for Sweden. Very vertical and always making runs in the channels. Rarely drops deep (Isak does). Relentless which gets him goals as he never stops going but as you noted relies on service and transitions.

Haven’t seen anything regarding it. Anyone in particular you would favor?
August 17, 2025 at 1:54 PM
Completely agree on that, I’m surprised players are not more insistent on such clauses. I’m in no way in favor of players forcing their way out in this manner and unfortunately it seems to become more normal.

Personally I would not describe a british record fee as cheap but opinions may differ. Newcastle should of course do what they believe to be the most beneficial for the club going forward and that can only be judged in hindsight. (2/2)

Newcastle has every right to set an asking price and stick to it if they want to.

Usually there is however some negotiation involved in relation to the asking price, recent example is Diaz. (1/2)

Incredible mess on their part. Seems very shortsighted on their part. Can’t imagine it would allure all to many top prospects either, like it or not for their owner or fans Newcastle as of yet is not a final destination.

Crazy stuff!

Eze is in my current draft, still very much undecided due to the chance he could move but I’m not very sure of most other 7-7.5 mids.
