Just left my review. It's every bit as good as I hoped! You guys really killed it. The comparison I made was between Balatro (card values summed/multiplied) and Clash Royale (units marching forward). And the UI - OMG. So much charm and style. It's a delight to see the whole thing in motion.

We got a LOT of feedback post launch from players who were put off by the name 'Royale' in the title, thinking it was a BR style game.

Given you have just seconds for players scrolling by for them to decide whether to click, we've adopted the unusual strategy of a rebrand.

Damn sorry that happened 😕 I refreshed literally hundreds of times. Could be that it's sold out or even that your slot came and went? Once you're up you only have 10 minutes to complete purchase.

I just kept refreshing and eventually it popped up that I was eligible to buy. I got in mine at :58, or 2 min before release. Good luck!

If there's a bright spot here, it's that there may be lessons in Bramble's shortcomings that can help other indie devs avoid the same mistakes.

Rebrand or name change for the mobile release is something I'm seriously considering.

It's probably hard / impossible to fix the Steam release, but I plan to support it with some content updates anyway. Not likely to move the needle, but maybe a small boost.
