I feel like the reason for film feeling more like an art than digital is because of the ritual you got through to develop a photo. That effort and hands on creativity leads to you feeling like you had a bigger impact compared to sitting at a computer or on your phone.

There’s a very small “niceness” of the multi-millionaire company showing its true colors because I don’t feel insane for thinking this before.

Do you regret it?

I find it has more of an impact compared to taking a photo of something that’s too interesting, like a statue or landmark.

Yes! It’s like we’re fully acknowledging these mundane things. One of my favorite pictures I did when first starting was of a chocolate bar wrapper on the floor. I took the photo looking up at the wrapper, having it tower over the viewer.

This is gorgeous! It’s so interesting how you made fog, a usually eerie atmosphere, into a comforting inviting place. The lights on the boat with the glow is beautiful.

I love the angle you were able to capture. What equipment did you use?

The colors and details you were able to capture even with the harsh light coming from outside is impressive. Love the photo!

I adore the green you were able to capture. Very vibrant and eye catching!

Love the composition of the shot. You have the people as the main focus, but you don’t let that take away from the surroundings. My only wish is if it was a little brighter. The shadows are dark, but the highlights aren’t white. Other than that AMAZING photo!
