I’m not good at figuring this stuff out, but it could just be the amount of things that changed recently. Especially with the removal of teleporters and Walker resistances, I’m not properly thinking through the amount of risk involved with taking objectives.

i think this could be really really cool! like different ships you fight against that can shoot back? abilities that compromise your own?
idk what your vision is exactly, but i think it would also be cool if - in case lore would exist - art cutscenes would display between gameplay sections

highly recommend trying linux, linux mint specifically. most things are typically fine, and if you NEED to use windows for a certain app (and wine wont work) you can set up your pc to dual boot into windows w/ a restart.

you’re doing better than most in realizing you want to simply have fun and do well rather than win, and it’ll benefit your skills within the games you play when you recognize your mistakes.
i play longer term comp games (deadlock) which makes it easier to stop for me, but timers might work for you?

For communication I just use Discord since it’s simple and easy. Email would also work (set up a separate one for business/comms) but personally I struggle with that sort of communicating.

Personally when I take comms I do it via straight up communication with the client throughout the process. Like progress pics etc so they have a good idea of what I’m doing.
If you just want a simple way to TAKE them, BuyMeACoffee has a decent system w/ modular stuff.

i wouldnt say anything is ‘meant’ for mouse art - BUT krita’s pixel engine is INCREDIBLY nice for colors! and brushes in general. my favorite thing is when you turn off aliasing on a solid brush and end up with more pixelated work - with all the benefits of the engine :D
