do you enjoy knowing that when you deposit money in a US bank, you won't lose that money? nice, right?
it's because bank deposits are insured by FDIC.

I spent $400 on supplies - non-perishable food, batteries, candles, bottles of water.
I stayed home because I lived on the 27th floor and didn't want to have to walk up all those flights of stairs.
I was surprised that the lights stayed on after midnight.
