Read #13 surprise—turns out I'm an introvert! 😅 I've had to train myself to lean into extroverted traits for work, but this book really helped me reflect on that balance. A thoughtful, read about navigating an extroverted world as an introvert. Gave it an 8/10. #booksky

Read number 9…while it had some moments of predictability, the melding of characters and storylines did keep you engaged until the end. #booksky #cannonbeachbooks

Read number 8…This one had a few too many asides for me as the author went back and forth between narrating in the style of Sherlock Holmes breaking down his deductions and being one of the main characters in the mystery. #booksky

Read number 7…A prequel of sorts to “Lilac Girls” “Lost Roses” focuses on a family of Russian aristocrats during WWII and their connection to a NY socialite. #booksky

Read number 6…a super quick read, and a great reminder of how the earth provides all we need if we live simply so others can simply live. A 9.5 out of 10 for me. #booksky

Read number 5…I have enjoyed everything I have read by Kate Quinn since reading „The Huntress“. Her character development and well researched history turned into fiction draws the reader in in a way that has you experiencing the the story with all five senses. A solid 10 out of 10 for me. #booksky

Read number 4…A light look at the importance of making sure we live with intention and don’t leave a bunch of clutter for others to have to sort through when we are no longer here. A gentle reminder that it is not the trappings that make the life. #booksky #storygraph

Read number 3…It was a fun, light read. A nice break from some of the heaviness of the world. It is not something I would have normally picked up but I enjoyed the interaction of characters across time. A nice light read for a winter weekend. #booksky #storygraph

Read #2 “Night Road” is a (mostly) well developed story with characters that you will love, hate, and love again as the story progresses. That said, this book had way too many triggers, so if you are planning to pick this one up make sure you are fully aware of where is book is going to take you.
