Yes, this is the forecast for this weekend (Jan.24) in Anchorage. We're supposed to get 1-3 inches of rain. The ground is still frozen, so I am not sure where all that water will go.

Happy solstice! Sun rise is 10:14, sunset 3:42. Although there is only about 5 1/2 hours of daylight, there is about 5 3/4 hours of twilight, which adds a bit of light to the day. *Photo taken before sunrise.
