Some kind of horse that you see at conventions. Recognize me? glad to meet ya!
he/him, anthro fan, engineer, has too much LEGO
Happens surprisingly frequently, all around the world. Often it's some kind of construction mistake or rodent chewing. Ideally, there is a 2nd connection that takes a different path & is not damaged but sometimes not.

But, but, but I am *special*! Don't you know that?

(Plus, it appears there are even more overflow hotels available this time.)

I mean the NVIDIA drivers. The situation is getting "better" recently but I still prefer to avoid them.

Nice! What is it?

Hardware support in Linux has gotten pretty good in the past 10 years. Problem areas tend to be some wifi, some graphics cards, and many fingerprint readers.

I was shocked how FAST they were coming out. At least 50% less time than last year.

Perhaps even *too* fast as we often got a walking mob that was a bit rough for photos

There's no perfect list, especially as new events come and go, but I use these.

Then I get into a rhythm of going to the same core events around the same time each year

I don't think that's one of @hoofers but they might know anyway. Runs the ungulate meets in the Bay Area.

Not a tax expert ;) but... no.
Two of those tax prep juggernauts specifically use "but I never wear my suits for anything else!" as an example.

I have never heard of a state-by-state recall. Recalls are issued by the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) which is part of the federal Dept of Transportation.

The question is what rises to the severity of needing a recall & if it's only for safety vs reliability items.

That's incredible - thank you for the context.

I have somewhat inadvertently gathered a collection of comics (including what I believe to be a full set of Furrlough), but have always struggled to get an idea of what circulation was like, especially for later / intermittent publications.

I think they are asking if they are "Pressed" or "Burned" CDs.

A pressed CD would be made in a factory by putting melted plastic in a mold of the physical grooves and bumps of the data on the CD. www.liveabout.com/the-differen...

Unfortunately it isn't affordable unless making a huge number.

Real ID was a reaction to 9/11... which didn't become a law until 2005... with the original deadline in 2008.

Literally no states offered Real ID until 2012, and it took until 2020 to reach all states. If we waited almost 25-years post-9/11 to implement, maybe it just isn't important...

I'm pretty sure my brother-in-law used to use an Amish car exhaust shop.

They won't drive it, but will certainly measure and bend pipe. Tubes are tubes I guess.

I am an Apple shareholder, but their stranglehold with the App Store has always been wrong. Have never considered an iDevice due to their restrictive ecosystem.

The "reduction" to 27% was clearly never going to fly. Instead of being reasonable, Apple digs in & getting slapped down across the globe.

Took a minute or two to load. Rooms are still showing for me (Thur-Mon) so maybe there is hope!

Try again?
