Apparently I can dissolve the sedative in water and use the syringe to dose him. He’s booked in tomorrow and they might keep him for the day on fluids.
Got another syringe for the electrolyte solution. If he doesn’t 🤮 it.

Just the nausea but they don’t know the cause. Someone on the local facebook page suggested poison mice - wonder what they know…
They might know more if they can do bloods but they can’t get a sample without sedation. Think they’ll have to do it because they gave me an oral tablet…he’s not eating.

Last option for me today is to get a syringe (vet should have given it yesterday) to force electrolytes down his throat…and see if he’ll keep them down.

The frustrating thing is he’s been nearly normal but even after 2 antiemetics he’s still showing signs of nausea and he’s eaten so little. He wouldn’t let them take blood yesterday so they gave me a sedative to give him…how, if he’s not eating?
