I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen Gruff but have only seen Bill (solo) twice, which were part of previous festival shows with Gruff. I’m really gutted that I missed hearing the iechyd da album live, as it’s a beautiful piece of work.

We saw him support The Coral in Liverpool too and think we’ve been to around 7 other Gruff gigs this year. Missed the shows with Bill due to being ill unfortunately.

My wife just ignores me now. She knows that when certain bands release stuff, I’m usually all in.

A couple of the albums go for daft money these days but there’s always a chance a lovely copy will pop up at a good price.

There were a couple that I only originally bought on CD but have collected the others over the last 18 months. Some you have to hold out a while to get nice copies at a reasonable price, as they can be mental.
