I find VS can be slow.
So are you saying Resharper slows down VS?
Which I have installed.

My biggest grievance is the date time format.
I'm full ISO8601 all the way including the TimeZone.
Where I can, I will always stipulate ,for all systems the time must always be in UTC.
I have connected to API's in the past that flipped between MM/DD and DD/MM or time in 12/24 clock.

I may have been guilty in the past 🤭. Seen it happen a few times between front / backend. Or API method 1 has one format at the method 2 has the other.
The problem is when it's in the API picked up months or years later. Too late to fix. We have a central data dictionary, with defined API names.

What about "keep" alive/active events.
Where a service in the quiet hours needs to still be reactive but there is no traffic. So every 5-10 mins send a dummy/canary request.

I'm with you on this , we have found a lot of our children's , clubs push everything out via insta or Facebook, and others others you must have whatsapp , all Meta services! instead of a simple email.

I'm with you on this , we have found a lot of our children's , clubs push everything out via insta or Facebook, and others others you must have whatsapp , all Meta services! instead of a simple email.
