At the tavern in the amazinSnow maze, the ingredients get poured in the back of the dragon and vomit out of its mouth all chilled and mixed in your cup. I had hot tea with a flavour shot so I had to vicariously enjoy others orders.

Here is a great book I bought a few weeks back, which I am experimenting my way through, thanks author Kaplan for all the careful work you and your team went through to make such a useful and beautiful manual!

The old saying of fail often and try again. This oil soaped casting off cardboard experiment probably counts as three or five fails all at once. I’ll finish it. I’m ptretending this wrong way is the traditional method of a venerated school of techniques or I’ll just go climb under the quilts. Lol

I’ll look for a cute Dutch paper with four piggies on it and when you fold it right it looks like adolf

Really not uplifting, creative meanspiritedness, I’d love it if the folded page revealed a way to exit the road to ruin, a map to a better community irl and online.

It’ll be colder later in the week, but the air quality is much improved when it blows south from the north pole. Love to marchers who uphold rights and care, love to people everywhere. I suspect given the mild temps in DC the move inside is security and not having comparable numbers.

Not the most exciting photo for non slipcasters. Casting oiled cardboard slide 2- the green is for the piston pliers to pop this open once it’s dry enough.

Started playing with cardboard and tape to sculpt masters. I hope to see if mold soap will protect it enough. A blue boat for grade 8’s to use for learning Archimedes principle. A vessel for pirate toys, a dish for fish and bread. I will need to mug handle style press mold some cradles for it.

The cone patch from last years first firing and todays idle fancy- a tithe barn timber frame inspired flagon with 7 sides. At the ideas stage.

Get to gnow your critter neighbors. Wash an antler with briny vitamin water, leave it out and then look at the chew marks from the critters who charge up on calcium and salt. Ummmmm salty antlers- so chewy. And just for downtown folks a reminder antlers drop naturally each year.

When they can smell you 30 km away, this 3 meter long lipidvore knows it can’t get at me, but it’s not so far to a good restaurant with hollandaise and béchamel sauce getting warmed up.

A nice big mug from Shaun at old church Pottery on the way to riding mountain. The picture doesn’t catch the depth of colours, it’s sort of a pale version here. I’ll work on catching them better.

As a little child growing up in Canada I was sure I was already in heaven because the opposite of the eternal flames of hell must be the bright and biting frozen expanse of -45 Celsius endless prairie. And to confirm it the shattered blowing ice crystals on the wind made medicine wheel halos.

Whorl stones I made for drop spindle for spinning wool into yarn. The little indent is to catch the yarn. Thought about a djealgan but haven’t figured out how to keep the weight down enough.

Starting a cycle of « Obscure and Reveal » artworks with grade 7’s soon. This time four sets of eight to make a 32 page book. I should have started sooner but options just began recently. I’m hoping they enjoy all the different media and technique they will get to meet in the process.

Last shelf of the kiln load. Notice the farm and mining grade teapot near the back. Should you ever need to incapacitate a mammoth that’s the teapot I’d recommend.
