I thought I was going to have to explain my cosplay to "Weird Al." It turns out he knew exactly who I was, and he also loves "Hundreds of Beavers!" Whoever coined the phrase, "Never meet your role models," clearly didn't have Weird Al as their role model.

Most of the year my home decor is a showcase of various characters across comics and pop culture, however, December belongs to Paul Dini's "Jingle Belle".
The full size mannequin that hangs out in our front room is decorated with a "Jingle Belle" character cosplay and placed next to our X-mas tree. I set up a bird "photo booth" outside my window using some faux birch logs and pine branches, resulting in up-close bird photos in more natural surroundings. Up first is the Red-bellied Woodpecker, and in the second photo, you can see the "red belly" for which the bird was named.

Our local zoo held a special adults only Halloween party charity event and I used it as an opportunity to bust out my Joker cosplay and clown around.
