Monday was punch-list day for this Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium project. It was perhaps a little early, but its coming along great! I can't wait to see everything wrapped up in December with the furniture installed. This Women's Locker Room is looking real snazzy.

I did it! I'm NCIDQ Certified!
I passed my last exam at the end of October.
(Technically, I need to wait for the website to update, but my preliminary results stated I passed, and last time, my preliminary didn't change.)

I started work on a concept for a William Morris-inspired custom wallcovering for a project at work. I'm hoping if the client likes this concept, that I can do the final image in watercolor.

My parents' neighbors are moving, so they were selling a bunch of things in their house, and when I saw this 80's electric pencil sharpener, I knew I needed her. They certainly don't make them like this anymore.

Well, I made it through the fat stacks of NCIDQ flash cards. I feel like I need to speed skim the rest of the study book before Friday still. I don't think I've ever been more nervous to take a test in my life because I really just want to pass these on the first go.

A beautiful thing about projects in historic buildings is that they hold a treasure trove of decorative detailing. Here are 2 early concepts for a STEAM School I created for some possible floor patterns and accompanying photos of the details within the building that inspired them.

Last week was the Hub and my annual Disney Trip. Missing walking 10 miles every day.
It was a good one. Splash Mountain's glow-up into a bayou adventure was masterfully done and adorable. I missed hearing the screams in that part of the park.
We also paid our respects to Dinosaur. 🦕
