Easily one of my favorite Zeppelin pieces, No Quarter has such a unique sound that I find so addicting. The audio filters, sound effects, and dark tone for the lyrics establish one of the strongest atmospheres I’ve ever felt through a piece of music

Dogs is one of Pink Floyd’s greatest pieces that I feel is often overshadowed by the staggering presence of their other famed albums. The acoustic and electric guitars compliment each other so well throughout each section of the piece, setting the stage for the other to jump in and command the tone

Esther is one of the first songs I’d ever heard by Phish, a band introduced to me by my high school choir teacher. The lyrics are dark and macabre, and the song opens up with a bizarre circus theme. But the “flying jam” that plays throughout the middle and reprises at the end is simply incredible

Terrapin Station Medley (also known as Terrapin part 1) is one of my all time favorites. It’s a vibrant progressive rock suite, composed of seven distinct movements that exchange an emphasis on both vocals and instrumentation.
