I am now sitting here with ~8 years financial experience at 25 years old, finally hitting an education wall as I attempt to move into more skilled roles. I have been enrolled part time in an online degree at Penn State for the last 5 years with my employer covering a large sum of the cost.

Its very interesting to see this. I started a career in finance without a degree strait out of High School, doing unskilled service work. Got S7, 63, 66 licenses and have moved through 6 different roles, each move being vertical within my employer.

All these roles "Required" a college degree.
