Fair point, we can mainly attribute Capitalism’s relative durability to the constant growth we’ve experienced in the last 200 years.

(fr though do you think his writing is misinterpreted, or do you just disagree with him, or something else like it's just poor messaging etc)

So you don't agree that the state withers away, forming a classless and stateless society as written by Engles in Anti-Dühring. Interesting. Unfollowed, blocked, and I will no longer send my weekly newsletter to your house in the form of a paper airplane through your open window.

Right, we don’t know the cost of living in their area, how many dependents they have, how far away they are from their work etc. There are a lot of factors at play. Functionally it is very simple; if you sell your labor to live, you are WC. 99.9% of people are easily defined on these terms.

What is mind reading about it. Either you work to live or you don’t. It doesn’t matter what you tell other people. Complete opposite of vibes. If you are interested in what Marx says about stocks, it’s a combination of speculation and where you got the money in the first place. In capital vol 3.

Functionally if you own enough capital to live without working you are a capitalist. If you trade your labor for goods that you use to live you are WC. It’s certainly not black and white with stocks, which Marx wrote about fwiw. Like much of science and law, definitions are a series of arguments.

There’s this class of landed gentry called “Land Lords”, have you heard of them?

Funny to see them wonk out about so many political issues and terms but when it comes to “working class” or “oligarch”, they’re concerned about overanalyzing and alienating normies.

I read his article and I honestly don’t know why he doesn’t believe this is to be true. Harris did everything he suggested. bsky.app/profile/slig...
Your 7 point plan is not more moderate than what she ran on. It’s the same. She supported the bipartisan border bill and blamed Trump for killing it. Nobody cared. She supported everything else you mentioned, though I don’t know what she said about LNG. Maybe that was the winning issue!
