Taken Quentin Blake. His distinct style is perfect at accompanying the whimsical tales of Roald Dahl. It knows its audience and appeals to that audience. If you mash up every style, it appeals to no audience. There's no special sparkle or defining features. It just is. It exists. That's all

Artists work on their own styles - their own intricacies and abilities. AI takes them and mixes them to try and be perfect in all of it. There's no artistic styling because it's every artistic style. Nothing to grasp hold of and appreciate.

As well as that, no art is perfect. And AI art is no exception. But unlike normal art, the reason is never down to human error or some factor to do with perspective. When AI art has a mistake, it's because it hasn't stolen enough yet.

A lot of the appeal of art comes from the process behind it. The thoughts, feelings and emotions. The subject human experience expressed in a way words cannot quite reach. Computers, as great as they are, will never be able to replicate that. Even perhaps subconsciously, that impacts our view of it.
