The next part is pure magic. Open the .csv file you've exported. Copy the cells containing your library ISBNs (yes, all of them). Paste the row of ISBNs directly into the magic wand on Zotero, search, and it will automatically load all of the information into your library.

Not only does it maintain a (free!) online library that even has cute little book covers to browse (see below), you can also export the library data to a .csv file (again, for free!!)

The data export contains tons of info...Author, title, date, publisher, description, and most importantly, ISBNs!

For years I have been wanting to organize my books, but I've always put it off because I thought I needed to buy a scanner. It just wasn't quite worth it.

Enter: Libib!

It's a free app you can use to scan the barcode of books, CDs, DVDs, etc...all for free!
