Today was the kickoff of the Raising RI campaign to improve the RI Works program. A new mom spoke about how much she appreciated the program & how much she could use an increase in her monthly benefit, only $244/month. Not a dry eye in the room. @profmmurray.bsky.social @rikidscount.bsky.social
