It was super cool to see you follow me back a while ago. I really like your art, so I was exited to see you follow me back. I've been meaning to draw mac for a while now, as a small token of my appreciation; So, I finally sat down and got back to drawing stuff!

My mom knows about my art, but my dad doesn't; Neither of them know I want a partial. Wish I could just ask for help, but they'd be weirded out. I'm gonna have to slowly introduce the idea.
Either way they'd probably be fine, but I'd feel really awkward asking for help before they really get it :/

Tldr:
Eigengrau is the color seen in the absence of light. Without brighter objects for contrast the brain adds static to pure blackness; This causes eigengrua to be a bit purplish.
We only see black as darker because of visual contrast with brighter objects, without this contrast we see eigengrau
