There are 30 screens' worth of "news" entries on Google when one does a search for "quiet piggy." I think the media is making it a big deal.

Not everything can be on the front page. Look at *anything* that happened two days ago, and if there's nothing new, it's not going to be on the front page anymore. (For example, most sites are leading with Cheney's funeral.)
Incidentally, it *is* on the home screen of the New York Times.

Poles kind of are the great victims in European history. They have a nice piece of flat land that's easy to stage invasions on. Read The Middle Kingdom for a great history of the region.

Because these aren't the usual reporters. Most of the existing reporters have been replaced by right-wing outlets.
