Is there a way to measure how relevant or effective is the enforcement of competition law?

If consumers have many options, I don't understand why the Amazon model is scrutinized.

Amazon dominantes partly because is fast and reliable to it's ecosystem.

But, are there non economic concerns, or political effects related to antitrust enforcement ?

For example, geopolitical reasons may incentivize certain decisions.

To what extent should these reasons be included explicitly in enforcement proceedings ?

"Big" is always bad?

Geopolitical concerns affect the Rationality and independence of antitrust desitions ?

How are procedural warranties affected by the Impact of the Antitrust Investigation?
