Might be dumb but I want to make it. I have million ideas and I think that might just be the natural process of creation. Nostalgia used correctly can help make the future.

Omg but that makes total sense. I’m sure there’s millions of toxic things that happened in that corporation but really up to Masuda it felt like at least someone was trying to uphold the art project of Pokemon. Idk I really think we just need to collectively make a new monster world.

Yup. It’s really a bummer to watch something go from passion to corporate. I miss the old heads at Gamfreak that were probably right that it should’ve ended at GSC.

It’s all speculation for sure but I imagine if I were in a creative job and I knew this was the biggest franchise in the world and the execs were showing how little they care all around that I would be really unmotivated to push myself to make a good thing.

I wish Gamefreak had more autonomy like the old days. I’m convinced Nintendo/The Pokemon company are Disney washing the game. I can tell what design elements had some creative freedom because they actually have character and aren’t cardboard.
