Got the subscription message event working. Need to get content fetcher to fetch the emotes. That's next stream.

The remaining part is used by a QTableWidget to display the list items for the big notification events that come in. Actual Logging window. Shows the actual buttons with icons at the top along with a list of notifications that have come in below. The current notification being displayed in the big notification window has a green background while the next notification to be displayed has a teal background.

I think this weekend's streaming has been very productive.

Got the subscription gift event type working with the test server and displaying on the desktop client along with the bits donations.

No streams next week (29th & 30th) due to a short break. Back on Saturday 5th April! See you then!

Got the chat window displaying messages from the Twitch chat and also styled. Unfortunately I'm not too happy using the QScrollArea widget to display the messages since it doesn't scroll down to the bottom properly so will need to think it over.

Bit of a productive weekend really.

The flow for my experiment to display events from Twitch on stream (Twitch -> Server -> Desktop Client) was working so started properly coding up with unit tests.

Got connecting/disconnecting working along with a styled main window.

A bit gutted that I couldn't solve the issue I was having with my Jest mocking before my four hour streaming hard stop.

Working it out off-stream - turns out using jest.spyOn and only mocking out the first call was the correct solution. Hopefully more progress next weekend!
