also while i am, and continue to be, deeply frustrated with the dems as a whole, i do think its notable that of the two offices i contacted that im technically not a direct constituent of, the Dem one still took my opinion, while the GOP one turned me away.

that particular call was notable cuz it turns out the "find your rep" website is slightly lenient wrt congressional districts. However the office of the congresswoman i called still took my opinion, noted my name and said they'd pass it along because "these bills dont just effect our district"
