Trying to not be paranoid and think this is the first step towards Gilead (at worst) or a result of random DOGE slashings (at best). Ten years ago I would have thought "no biggie. I'll try again on Monday." I miss 10 years ago...

My husband (of 13 years)'s green card expires in 2026, and with everything going on, I'm worried about it not being renewed. Do you think that is a legitimate concern? I know it's selfish, but I'd like us to keep living in the same country. Any words of optimism? Thank you for your AMAs! Stay safe!

Yep. I got the results of a calcium score a few years ago when I was deep into the marathon training; told I needed to watch my diet, and exercise more. 😒

That was after I told him I was on a training run when the episode occurred. To which he responded that I can't just start running and expect to not have any problems. Women's Health Care, especially cardiac care, is a joke.

Stress test in 2 wks due to severe shortness of breath during a training run. I've completed two marathons, but you wouldn't know it to look at me, so that is why, at our first meeting, the cardiologist with the potbelly told me I need to lose weight & watch my blood sugar.
