Because they want to reduce blue city (high population area) voters. If they have to stand in line for 2 hours, many might not show up vs rural voters that are in and out of the voting booth fairly quickly.

I always get my ballot mailed to me and then bring it directly to the ballot box. I don’t trust who is in charge of USPS. Even if I did trust them I would still turn it in so I can confirm with my own eyes it was delivered.

You would be surprised at how often fraudsters are able to to convince cardholders to reply yes and give out their PIN numbers. I work in card fraud and boy the stories I have.

As someone who works in card fraud, a good tell if a text is legitimate is if it comes from a short code vs phone number. Short codes are much harder to spoof.

I support companies being required to provide a living wage that affords housing, food, healthcare and childcare. If any of this has to be supplemented by the govt to support your employees than you get taxed for it
