krigias are commonly known as dwarf dandelions or potato dandelions but that's too long for a haiku 😆 there are a ton of them in a meadow near me ☀️
a small grassy field with a few trees in and around it. the trees cast leafy shadows on the grass. there are a ton of krigias spread over the field: they have tiny round bright yellow flowers that rise above the grass on long narrow stalks. from far away they look like a yellow cloud floating above the grass

decided to go hiking this afternoon 🍂 didn't expect to take any photos but I came upon this magnificent beech tree! there was also a cool mushroom near the base and a few lacewing larvae on the trunk 🍂
