Agree. My wrestling peaks were ROH vs CZW and Okada Kenny era NEW Japan. But I never had a PWG phase and a lot of people online seem really keen on AEW as PWG.

AEW tries to appeal to ECW level violence, ROH style work rate and CHIKARA style hijinks. It could probably do with a bit more tonal consistency but hard to do that without annoying the people who like the bit you'd prefer turned down. But alongside better sound and a more distinct look, I agree.

It's such a likeable game and the songs seem made for a kid's movie.
