Free Palestine.

Respected First Nations man, Graham Greene, of the Canadian Onyota'a:ka People, has died at age 73. He had a long and respected career as an actor.
I would draw attention to his outstanding performance in the 1991 Horror/Thriller Clear Cut. Greene considered his finest role.

out now: writing about a live performance event in Lutruwita. Life/Cycle was a new work that fused dance, theatre, and performance art performed in a re-purposed newspaper publishing building that's now a gallery.

I love this painting.
It has no title - Goya never gave it one.
Today is Goya's birthday.
Goya is open to interpretation, as is much art, but I can say this: he saw the old world devouring the new in a desperate attempt to stop the future coming.
Happy birthday Francisco.

Excellent thread here about Yoko Ono. I cannot but applaud this comment on a fascinating artist I have much respect for.

"The big idea of Namedropping that Mona suggests is  “ART = STATUS”. The problem with that idea though, for me, is that I don’t just disagree. It’s that I don’t give a fuck why we make art.
