I don't have much to say about S-94 but watching it on YouTube with this kind of video quality is a different kind of experience. It's clearly recorded on someone's computer because you can see their Steam notification mid-way through the movie lmao

Finally watched Superman (2025) after all the hype I've seen on the Internet. Gotta be honest, I don't agree, which kind of sucks because I wanted to like it but it got brought down by the uneven pacing and some scenes felt less impactful when they should have hit the mark easily. It was fun tho!

Rewatched a bit of John Wick 4 and it's hard to believe movies like this actually exist. So many memorable action scenes and overall a really fun time. I should do a John Wick movie marathon some day

Haven't watched any movie in over a month, so I decided to watch Tetsuo: The Iron Man last night.
The most batshit insane movie I've ever watched, it was only around an hour long. I didn't expect to like it that much but I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought

I was digging through my old stuffs and then I stumbled across some screenshots from OMORI I posted 2-3 years ago. It got me thinking just how much the game impacted me so much that I became depressed for another 2 weeks by playing it (I watched the whole gameplay before and I also got very sad)

and then we have the dogshit known as season 3. Started off great, and then ended in such an underwhelming way because there's no interesting characters left during the final game. Every resolution is safe and unsatisfying (Apart from one), and the last scene is just head-bangingly irritating.

and then we have season 2. It's good, but uneven. It has new shocking moments and interesting characters, but I don't like that the comedy was mostly reduced to goofy and campy. Makes the show less unsettling even if there's a new danger. Thanos was fun tho.
Also the tone is inconsistent at times

Season 1 is a damn near masterpiece. Great characters within a setting that is deceptively dangerous. I also never realized how good the black comedy this show has.

I watched Godzilla Minus One a few months ago. No idea why it took me so long to watch it but I'm happy to say it's a great movie. I would never expect to care about the human characters so much, but this movie did the 'seemingly' impossible after all the Monsterverse movies (Tho I still liked them)

Started reading Isekai Samurai around last week and I enjoyed it so far. Loved the art style a lot and the characters are fun, Ginko is very cool I like her

I watched Twilight (1990) this week. Felt too slow at times because I'm still not used to slow cinema in general, but the cinematography is so brilliant that it managed to keep me invested in the movie even when it's slow. Great stuff

Watched KPOP Demon Hunters and it was okay. The animation is obviously great, and has interesting ways to show expressions.
The characters and the story on the other hand are... decent at best. The songs are also ok I guess

Banger album aside, the story has to be my personal favorite. It's so straightforward but super interesting to read through. The part about the kaleido-screen and how humans can no longer differentiate what's real and not real is surprisingly relevant to current 'events'
