The TL;DR seems to be, or one interpretation is, they wanted to ban gay sex books in Alberta schools, but they can't say that because that's illegal in Canada, so they banned all sex in books in schools, and then... the Edmonton school board just did exactly what they asked for.

Actually, I’ve asked some people who support his lack of security clearance and they excuse PP because not having clearance ‘allows him to criticize and chirp’. They’ve spun the clearance as a gag order.
