I'm finally nearing the finish line. Feeling great about the work I have done in this program. My graduation ceremony is this Friday!

I have one class that is only offered in the first half of the summer block that I have to complete to make it truly official. I am not worried about that though.

Happy first day of spring! It was great spending some time outside with my dogs this afternoon.

Yesterday and today I taught about the WWII Homefront. So, it has been all about rationing, propaganda, Japanese Internment camps and a little bit about how Captain America and other super heroes fought fascism in their stories. 🍎

Not the best example. The US stayed pretty firmly on the sidelines until the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

On the other hand Churchill seemed to have the right idea.

I was looking through some older stuff earlier and I realized I started working as a substitute teacher almost exactly 2 years ago. Wow! A lot has changed since then.

My brain was really spinning earlier. I'm doing better, but that was not a great start to my 4 day weekend.

We've been having one of the worst snowstorms in KC in ages. The birds have really appreciated me keeping my feeder filled.
