The Chapman Branch will be closed for a rewiring project starting Monday, March 31. The branch is expected to reopen by Monday, April 14. All other City Library locations, including the nearby Glendale Branch, will remain open with regular business hours.

Call for artists! Alt Press Fest is seeking a featured artist to create original artwork for this year's festival, The City Library's annual celebration of zines and DIY publishing. The artist will be paid and credited.

The City Library Board has an opening for a representative from Salt Lake City's District 2, the Westside, which includes Fairpark, Glendale, Poplar Grove, and parts of Downtown.
