1. #LetFreeTheCurseOfTaekwondo- A late addition but it struck like an asteroid in the Cretaceous Era. Like Dohoe and Juyeong, I simply cannot move on. It was love at first watch and sometimes you just know.

An absolutely beautiful meditation on depression and when you realize why Myungha and Yeowoon seem made for each other it floors you.

This feels wrong. I bigged this show up all year. It should be my favorite BL but my second place is #LoveForLovesSake.

3. #OssansLoveReturns- The rare sequel that surpasses the original. It’s a live action cartoon. A pitch-perfect blend of wacky hijinks and heartwarming domesticity.

4. I may be a cliche but number 4 had to go to #4Minutes2024. An examination of the cost of revenge and redemption. Tyme's singleminded pursuit results in him unable to make any meaningful connections. Ton Kla blazes a path that kills everyone. Best character. Fuaiz is a star.

5. #HappyOfTheEnd- 2 young men discarded and forgotten by family and society finding each other and carving out a life is cinema.

6. #TheTimeOfFever- It's short but rearrange your brain chemistry good. I need another season.

7. #MyStandIn- A psychosexual telenovela overflowing with fuckery. I expected a half-assed redemption arc. Instead, Ming stayed true to himself and truly awful. Joe wouldn’t have him any other way.

Beautiful, cold, aloof Sahashi being won over by earnest to a fault Natsume’s passion to turn makeup into a proper career. Sahashi quietly encouraging the chronically insecure Natsume to see his own worth. Oh and it also delivers some of the most swoonworthy kisses of the year.

8. #CosmeticPlaylover- This was a shock to me but it's a classic. A pitch-perfect workplace BL in which career progression and character/relationship development intertwine to deliver a harmonious whole.

9. #LoveIsAPoison- It is a USA Network show from the 2000s and I mean that as compliment.

10. #BoysBeBrave- A simple story of boy meets boy executed immaculately.

Day 23- I have a legion of shows I always come back to when in the grips of insomnia or alcohol: #StayWithMe. #OurDatingSim. #LightOnMe. #AboutYouth. #GayaSaPelikula. #Gameboys.

Day 19- Gavreel/Cairo from #Gameboys. I stumbled upon this show during a bout of insomnia in 2020 and these two have meant the world to me ever since.

It has to be Togawa’s confession from #OldFashionCupcake. I lost 2 pounds from walking after that. Or it was the infamous scene from #ToMyStar2 when Jiwoo said they can just be fuck buddies.
