Forever baffled by the fact that the bin closest to the building is always overflowing while the other two are half empty. Is it really that much further??!
Three large grey waste bins in a row, on a pavement, in front of a patch of grass. The closest one has it's lid open with bin bags showing over the rim and a couple of bag on the floor beside it. The other two have their lids closed.

And finally a few others around the town centre.
2 sets of parallel tram tracks travel off in to the distance either side of the centre. Empty platforms on the left and the right. Electric lines above and the blue partly sky above that. Grass bank with trees on the far left and a wall painted with graffiti on the far right. A blue/red tram drives across the Supertram bridge (a curved metal structure) in front of Park Hill flats (concrete with coloured panels). A view down Fargate, a street in Sheffield, old buildings with shops in the ground floor line the street on either side. People are walking around. I'm super late this year but I finally finished tagging all my 2024 photos and can take a look at where I went based on the location of the photos I took.

Realized it was finally light enough in the late afternoon for my first canal walk of the year! #UKCanals #Sheffield

Been a bit of an average year for me. Including the number of new films I've seen. 65 in total and 25 of those in the cinema. Highlights that aren't part of a massive franchise, The Substance and Civil War. Thanks @letterboxd.social to helping me keep track.

It's been nice and atmospheric out today.
A tree in the foreground on the right with a branch reaching across the top of the frame, in the middle distance a wall of bare trees. Through those trees you can see the ghostly shape of a tall block of flats obscured by fog. A pathway between two sloped grassy banks leads towards an underpass tunnel. Young trees are planted in the banks. In the distance partially hidden by fog is a local shopping centre. You can see signs for a barbers, cash converters, a post office and a pub called The Blackstock. A green bench in the foreground at the bottom in front of 2 blocks of flats which are both covered in green panelling. The one on the left has a red stripe. Behind those are bare trees. The sky is white due to fog obscuring the distance. A view through some bare tree branches with water droplets hanging off them. More trees can by seen behind them and a foggy sky above.

A rainy afternoon on Sheffield Canal #UKCanals
A canal runs through the picture top right to bottom left. Yellow tree leaves hang down from above. In the background a blue and red road bridge crosses the canal.
