Can you change the frequency of each head to be different? Also, I think slowing the wag down would help it to look more like breathing rather than dancing!
You could also try out varying the wag amplitude over time! Or even summing different sinusoids with different frequencies on a single head!

I love my Retroid Pocket 5, if you're targeting Android. For Linux, my favorite at the moment is the Anbernic 40XXH running MuOS. I've been able to get some of my Godot 4 games running on it! Portmaster is the place to look for tips when porting to these Linux builds!
