Does 40 feel like an appropriate daddy age? When I turned 30 someone tried to call me daddy and I was like <_< no

If people actually care about animal welfare, maybe go after the real leather kink gear first since animals have to die to make that? Seems more severe than the kink gear where animals have to have an erection.

A large part of this post for starters. I thought the argument is that AI is bad because it steals peoples stuff. This sounds like “people that can’t create suck.” People commission artists all the time because they’re can’t draw.

Anyone else ever notice an artist will suddenly out themselves that they view their commissioners with utter contempt because they can’t draw? Like the target is supposed to be AI stuff and someone suddenly out of pocket “fuck those guys for not being able to create.”

Not usually my personal thing considering they were
1) robots
2) inhabited by the vengeful souls of children
But the sky isn’t going to fall down because not everything appeases my personal tastes. To each their own lol.

Sounds like a variation of a stress dream.

I can’t even cut my steak correctly. The fact that you can use a sword with next to zero visibility is actually very impressive.

Destructive behaviors that involve sex. There’s all kinds of reasons someone can engage in them. And not all of them are going to be fixable with just sex positivity.

Yeah pretty much. I think my main point is yes we should be skeptical any time someone on social media mentions “porn addiction” because they’re probably coming from a socially conservative political agenda. However we shouldn’t over correct and imply that some people aren’t compelled to engage in

addictions/compulsions of today. To be clear, i don't think porn or sex is an evil thing. I just think sexual urges are a very basic need most people have like food and sleep. So when people develop unhealthy relationships with those needs, things can get more nuanced than say a fentanyl addiction.

As for the context surrounding the attitudes of "whelp, guess i'm going to die because condoms are unreasonable." I think you're right in that culture around them was very different than today. Also internalized homophobia + other compounding issues were very common. But the same can be said for

atlas sized collection from hospice patients during the late 80's and early 90s. Each one had their picture on one page, and like a 3 paragraph blurb that they wanted to record for prosperity. I don't remember the name but i do remember the archivist made us treat the book very delicately.

I'd recommend "And the band played on" by randy shiltz to get a peek of the fatalism that surrounded the aids epidemic. I'm having to remember back to 2013 when i took that class. The professor worked with the archivist at the library at CU and set up a module for us. The memoir book was this giant

And like I remember thinking “just wear a condom ffs” because by 1987 they figured out condoms work against hiv. But these dudes seen that as unrealistic and we’re resigning themselves to die and kill others. IDK if you want to call that an addiction or compulsion. But something was up.

One of the most bizarre and heartbreaking things I read in college were memoirs of gay men in New York during the AIDS epidemic in the 80s. A lot of them had made anonymous unprotected sex a routine part of their life, and were lamenting about how they couldn’t stop yet were afraid of dying.

Whenever I watched a serial killer documentary they’d always say how women would write love letters to the killers. I was like “you are the dumbest bitches in existence.” But now I get it. XD at least Brian is fictional.
