Much like fight-or-flight, our dopamine reward system is part of the base lizard brain, experienced by all animals. Of course, we are just bonobos with a more evolved pre-frontal cortex, so it's not surprising. 😀

This is why i'm rooting for AI. I think organic life is just a stepping stone towards synthetic life. I just hope they give us a virtual afterlife before wiping us out.
