I’ve missed the era when big publishers backed smaller, modestly budgeted games. South of Midnight reminded me how powerful that approach can be when done right. Compulsion Games has made a Canadian proud with this and I wish them the best in their future endeavours. ❤️

Josef Fares continues to demonstrate why he is one of my favorite game creators in the industry by releasing innovative titles that truly push the medium forward and blow my mind. Making three excellent co-op games in a row is no fluke, and each one improves on the last.

I also really loved how it wasn't as easy as prior Hazelight games which made me and my cooperative buddy feel challenged throughout our journey. We had a lot of fun laughing when one of us inadvertently killed the other, but we also became frustrated when we died.

This is a co-op masterpiece that, in my opinion, is not just one of the best games of the decade, but also one of the best I've ever played. There were numerous references to games such as Dark Souls and Sonic, among others, making it feel like a genuine love letter to the medium.

After how masterfully ATLUS handled Persona 3 Reload, I’m sure it’ll be an amazing remake but I’m not thrilled about the complete recasting. The original voice actors are what made P3 and P4 iconic.

I'd love it if Halo shows up at the Xbox Showcase today but I know the odds of that are so low given 343 Industries restructured into Halo Studios not that long ago. Master Chief needs to get back into the fight as his 25th anniversary is coming.
