Maybe it’s Pisces season or maybe it’s just water, but in my studio I noticed I’ve been between paintings that relate to bodies of water and embodiment

Thinking alongside water and returning to a poem that starts there but ends with a kind of maternal disembodiment 🌊

this is what I’ve been up to in my studio: This painting has been a North Star ⭐️ both inside and outside my studio practice. It feels most akin to unexorcised daydreams in the struggle toward my own becoming after many years lost to grief. I’m so grateful for it and the paintings its since inspired🌙
