I agree with you on those issues, the problem to me is the social issues, the branding /lecturing scares middle America and the. It get amplified in social media

Is this energy movement the same people who protested Biden/harris because of Israel/Palestine to help elect someone who wants Gaza to become a trump resort after allowing netanyahu to conduct a real genocide? Who by helping elect trump have destroyed some of the biggest progress on climate ever?

I think it's the branding thst comes from advocacy groups, Middle America is scared of things they don't understand, then it gets blown up virally by the right wing trolls and it scares the hell out of middle America

How do u win Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, etc by doing that? those are moderate states, maybe those on the left need to realize who actually decides a presidential election and realize their causes would be much better off with any Dem in the white house

The left part of the party needs to learn they are the party of change which means they have the harder job! Dems needs to bring people with them on change, it's shitty but right has easier job and does not scare the middle as much as the left does, trump 2.0 is evidence of that

She joins McCarthy as Republicans who got what they deserve because they better, they joined the trump ranks out of pure personal greed

Wisconsin is very Gerry mandered, my guess is he has a district just conservative enough to not be competitive, but has a lot of democrats shoved into it to waste their votes, these are likely his rightfully pissed democrat constituents who have been disenfranchised because of said gerrymandering

Gerrymandering and party loyalty
March 4, 2025 at 8:58 AM
Gerrymandering, Wisconsin was a master class in it thanks to a democratic low turnout election in 2010 and tea party driven conservative turnout. They took control of all branches and claimed a mandate and did lots of questionable things to cement themselves in power.

It's Gerry mandering at its best put just enough conservative in a district so it's not competitive, but not too many because u want to waste a lot democrats votes in those districts. This is how they had super majority in state leg despite it being a 50/50 state

All of the above, this playbook of party ideology being more important than democracy started in Wisconsin in 2011. Grotham played a similar role as state senator as a loyalist to the governor. The only thing giving Wisconsin hope from the fascist is the state supreme Court is elected

This is not surprising, he was front and center in enabling Scott Walkers executive branch power grab by inserting political appointees (giving Loyalist jobs) deep into state agencies in Wisconsin in 2011, Grotham was one of walkers propagandist state senators, he is used to this role

This is Putin's playbook!

My fear is he would just take that out on Ukraine
