I've had a set of Powerblocks for a couple years that I've been really pleased with. In conjunction with a pair of adjustable kettlebells (the shell with filler plates style) they've covered a lot of my home kit needs.

Was in the same boat. Switched to a Quest 3, and used OpenVR Space Calibrator's continuous calibration in combination with a Vive tracker mounted to the Quest to put it together with my base station tracked stuff. Works surprisingly well.
