yw! @rednafi.com, but unless I'm missing something, it's not about discouraging, it just doesn't work. Your snippet from the screenshot never prints that "Setting up the database" piece. Just tried it with pytest 6.x, 7.x and 8.x 🤷‍♂️

Only works on tests, though. Sadly you can't decorate other fixtures like that 🤷‍♂️.
